Tulsa 11th Street Bridge was completed in December 1915 it was the first major multi span concrete bridge

 in Oklahoma. Art Deco-style guardrails and lighting fixtures were added after it was completed. With its 18 graceful arches, the bridge is considered an architectural gem. The 11th Street Bridge was the first automotive bridge to cross the Arkansas River.

The Blue Whale in Catoosa Oklahoma is a beloved historic landmark along Route 66.  The Blue Whale and its pond is a favored swimming pond. This  place has really been cleaned up and is a nice picnic spots for families. A must see stop on Route 66.










Cain’s ballroom is listed on the National Register for Historic Places. Cain's Ballroom is a historic music venue in Tulsa, OklahomaUnited States, built in 1924 to serve as a garage for W. Tate Brady's automobiles. Madison W. "Daddy" Cain purchased the building in 1930 and named it Cain's Dance Academy. They charged 10¢ for dance lessons, A must visit on Friday and Saturday night.
The Golden Driller is a 76-foot tall statue and the fifth-tallest statue in the United States. In 1979, the Golden Driller was adopted by the Oklahoma Legislature as the state monument. It is located at 4145E 21st Tulsa Oklahoma.













  
 
The Meadow Gold Sign has been a Route 66 icon since the 1930's. Located at 11th and Quaker Tulsa Oklahoma.  The Meadow Gold sign lives in people's hearts and memories it is a Tulsa landmark.






"Heart of Historic Route 66," This very large, bronze buffalo overlooks Route 66 on the east edge of Sapulpa.  Named the "Guardian of the Plains," the bison stands 12 feet high and 18 feet long in native prairie tall grass.

Crystal City, located off of Route 66 in west Tulsa. The most significant road in West Tulsa is Southwest Boulevard, which was formerly part of Route 66.

The Tulsa Metro diner is closed but not forgotten. The landmark Metro Diner at 3001 E. 11th St.  destroyed to make way for a new University of Tulsa entrance. I will never understand why they did not just move to another location it was the coolest dinner any where. “ELVIS NO LONGER EATS HERE.”

Tulsa Blue dome gas station building ( no longer pumping gas ), The Blue Dome Historic District is a seventeen-block area that lies just east of the central business district. The whole aerie has been brought back as the happing cool place to be. Once a blight on Tulsa the transformation has been amazing.









The Circle Theater, The theater, located on Lewis Avenue near Admiral Place, opened on Route 66 in 1928, and remains the oldest theater still standing in Tulsa. The Circle is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.













Ed Galloway's Totem Pole Park Foyil, Oklahoma located just 3.5 miles off the Mother Road. They are the largest examples of a folk art Oklahoma. Located at 21300 E Highway 28A, Chelsea, OK It is easy to miss but a great stop for family and children.

Tulsa’s Fabulous Warehouse Market building A art deco gem, on 11th Street (Route 66) near downtown in Tulsa. Built in 1929. The entry shows a medallion displays a goddess holding a sheaf of wheat and a cornucopia. The other displays a god holding an oil derrick and train engine. The Warehouse Market, also known as "The Farmers’ Market" 


Lake Overholser is home to Oklahoma City's newest sensational recreational hot spot, Route 66 Park, on the west side of the lake at 9901 NW 23.
